Dr. Jennifer Terrell is an award-winning Senior Lecturer and former Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Informatics department in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. Her teaching and research expertise lie in the intersections of technology, culture, sociality, emotions, storytelling, participatory design, transmediation, and ethics. She serves on the executive board for the International Society for Exploring Teaching and Learning (ISETL) and is conference co-chair for 2025. She also serves on the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) education committee. She earned a Doctorate of Informatics from Indiana University and a Bachelors of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from California State University, Sacramento.
